I’m sorry, but even with Lauren Faust there… the lack of pony is most disturbing…
There’s no saying that it won’t look like multicolored cartoon horses, and this is a far better alternative than having thousands of hours of hard work and passion flushed down the drain.
You’d rather it not happen because you can’t play as a pony? Come on, man.
Well, I wouldn’t rather have it not happen. If they want to continue with their hard work then that’s fantastic and admirable that they’ve found a way to do that.
I just personally won’t have interest in following it, considering the pony factor was why I cared about it in the first place - like, the thing that made it not just another fighting game, regardless of how good the fighting game is.
Not a genre I care much about if you take away the characters I care about - kind of like how Super Smash Bros. wouldn’t have any lasting appeal without Nintendo characters even though it would be a solid standalone title.
